What does it take for a person living with a disability to get back behind the wheel?

Prendre le volant, an AMI-Télé documentary, follows three individuals at different stages of their adapted-driving journeys and offers a moving look at the challenges, determination and support involved along the way.

The documentary also highlights the expertise of the Driving Evaluation and Vehicle Adaptation Program, including the multidisciplinary team at the Constance-Lethbridge site of the Lethbridge-Layton- Mackay Rehabilitation Centre. Through personalized assessments, training and vehicle adaptations, the team helps clients achieve greater mobility, independence and quality of life.
