Congratulations to the CIUSSS teams who were honoured at the 2025 SRS Awards ceremony (Prix Stars du Réseau de la santé) for their pioneering programs dedicated to improving care.

These awards, presented by the Caisse Desjardins du Réseau de la santé on June 4, showcase healthcare innovation, and allow professionals to recognize their peers and contribute to the sharing of best practices within the community.

Second place in the High-Performance category was awarded to a project submitted by Sonia Boccardi, the Clinical Administrative Coordinator of the Nursing Directorate. The specialized Nursing Vascular Access team was recognized for its PICC line Project, reducing both wait times and discomfort for patients. As it happens, the team received the award on the very day they inserted their 500th PICC line!

Picking up fourth place in the Simple category was Jacynthe Caron, Administrative Chief of the Parc-Extension Family Medicine Group (GMF), who along with her colleagues, established the Métapex Project.
