Congratulations to Stéphanie Desgagné on her new role as Associate Director of SAPA Home Care, Intermediate and Family-type Resources and the Mistreatment Helpline.
In this position, Ms. Desgagné provides strategic leadership to the teams of the various programs, services, and facilities related to home support, intermediate and family-type resources (RI-RTF), as well as the Mistreatment Helpline.
Ms. Desgagné’s role also involves strengthening partnerships between various sectors and fostering an integrated and collaborative approach to ensure smooth, safe and needs-centred care for older adults. She contributes to providing an exemplary user experience, characterized by the accessibility and quality of home services.
Ms. Desgagné’s professional career within our network began eight years ago. She has held various clinical positions, including on the Mother-Child and Infection Prevention teams. She has also held management positions in the SAPA Directorate, as Head Nurse at the Saint Andrew Residential Centre and Program Coordinator at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Carleton University, demonstrating her commitment to leadership and organizational excellence.
