On March 11, staff was invited to observe the five-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic by looking back at some of the significant stories that marked the period. These stories—chronicled by our staff on video, in photographs and in magazine articles—served as a reminder of employees’ resilience and dedication.
On the occasion of Pandemic Observance Day, Dr. Lawrence Rosenberg, President and CEO of CIUSSS West-Central Montreal, reflected on how far we have come together.
“Five years ago, our lives were upended by an unprecedented global crisis … The dedication, diligence, perseverance, and incredible stamina of each and every member of our staff was nothing short of heroic. Their actions directly influenced the lives of countless individuals—many of them frail, elderly, or chronically ill.”
