The Alliance program team participated in an outreach event in October, in partnership with several organizations dedicated to providing care to youth. Alliance is an intervention program run by our CIUSSS’s Children-Family-Youth psychosocial teams that collaborates with community partners, institutions and families to prevent neglect.
The event brought together more than 80 professionals from our CIUSSS’s frontline teams, as well as professionals in the community, school, institutional and early childhood sectors in a convivial and informal “speed-dating” setting, to meet with their counterparts and discuss their practices.
It was an occasion to discover new resources, encourage collaboration and improve the collective response to situations of neglect of young people from birth to 17 years old. The goal of the initiative is to strengthen interventions and care through a more robust and connected network.
