New Mobile Youth Clinic is valuable resource for young people

Jul 17, 2024

A new initiative from our CIUSSS school team helps to serve the varied needs of youths aged 12 to 25 during the summer period. The Mountain Sights Mobile Youth Clinic is an innovative project that provides a safe space where young people can ask questions, discuss their concerns and receive the necessary support in complete confidentiality.

The clinic team includes nurses and social workers ready to offer advice and answer young people’s questions about romantic relationships, family conflicts and mental health. Also available are screening for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STIs), as well as contraception initiation and troubleshooting.

Youths can consult the team without an appointment, and a RAMQ card is not required. For further information about the clinic, including dates and location, visit this dedicated webpage on our CIUSSS website.
