Congratulations to Dahlia Dumpa Villariez on receiving the Mireille Ducros Award for Excellence in Nursing at the 2025 Maimonides Recognition ceremony.
Ms. Villariez was honoured during the long service celebration at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre, for her “commitment to excellence, innovative practices and her transformative impact on patient care”.
Noted also for her compassion and for championing wound care, Ms. Villariez is currently involved in a pilot project integrating the Hololens in palliative care.
The annual award is a tribute in remembrance of Mireille Ducros, a former Director of Nursing at Maimonides.
