Congratulations to Karine Lepage, who has been appointed Associate Director of Cancerology, in the Nursing Directorate.
In her new role, Ms. Lepage will be responsible for ensuring that patients in the various Cancerology programs benefit from high-quality services, and that users at every CIUSSS site receive optimal care at all points in their care trajectory.
Ms. Lepage comes to the position with over fifteen years of leadership in the health field, most recently developing an expertise in medicine, oncology and radiotherapy. She was the mentor of the first practicing group in Strengths-Based Nursing Care, with several of her teams winning awards of excellence for their work.
Ms. Lepage has a green-belt certification in LEAN-Six sigma and green belt in Value-Based Health Care. She holds a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the Université de Montréal.
