The Jewish General Hospital University Health Centre has been recognized on Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2027 list in four specialties: neurology, oncology, orthopedics and cardiology.
The distinction highlights the expertise, dedication and innovation of our teams, as well as their ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
Among the many achievements recognized this year, the JGH was one of only two Canadian hospitals to receive four medals for its implementation of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), which help ensure care is guided by the experiences and outcomes that matter most to patients.
The hospital also earned standout results both nationally and locally, with top-tier rankings across all four specialties, including a No. 1 ranking in Montreal for orthopedics and top-three positions in Montreal for cardiology, oncology and neurology. Several specialties also ranked among the leading programs in Canada.
