An annual survey for Newsweek magazine has named the Jewish General Hospital to its list of World’s Best Hospitals 2026.
“Being recognized once more among the world’s leading hospitals is a testament to the extraordinary dedication of every member of our team,” says Dr. Lawrence Rosenberg, President and CEO of our CIUSSS, where the JGH plays a pivotal role.
As part of the evaluation, the hospital scored 4 out of 5 ribbons for its implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). PROMs convert patients’ own reports on their health and recovery into meaningful, actionable data that guide clinical decision-making and support continuous improvement in outcomes. This recognition reflects our teams’ strong commitment to patient-centred, value-based health care.
