Staff CIUSSS wide were invited to take part in activities planned throughout Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Week from October 16 to 20. This year’s theme was Unmasking the Future.
The IPAC team organized rounds of sites and units to meet staff, as well as training sessions at all SAPA facilities. They were joined by the Quality team to answer questions about patient and staff safety at booths set up at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital.

They were on hand to answer questions and share information about patient safety with visitors and staff. Participants stood a chance to win prizes in an infection-prevention “spin-the-wheel” game. Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing were also present, offering vaccination to CIUSSS employees.
