Two nurses win awards from their professional order

Congratulations to Isabelle Caron, outgoing Assistant Director of Nursing, and Marineh Carapetian, a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Primary Care, both recipients of 2022 regional awards from the Ordre régional des infirmières et infirmiers de Montréal/Laval (ORIIM/L). The awards were presented at a ceremony held April 5 at the Jewish General Hospital.

Isabelle Caron received the Alice-Girard Award, which recognizes a nurse member of ORIIM/L whose professional achievements are exceptional, and who has contributed significantly to the development of the practice of nursing, and the status of the profession. This is the highest honour bestowed by the ORIIM/L.

Marineh Carapetian received the Jeanne-Mance Award, which recognizes a nurse manager who is a member of ORIIM/L whose skills and achievements contribute to the development of nursing care, as well as the improvement of health care for the population.
