Congratulations to Luigina Aversa Piccioni, Nurse at Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre, who recently received the Mireille Ducros Award on behalf of the Donald Berman Maimonides Foundation. The award – named for the former director of nursing at Maimonides – recognizes a nurse committed to excellence. Ms. Aversa Piccioni’s team members on the 7th floor of Maimonides describe her as a great leader with a “hands-on” approach.
