The Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre (LLMRC) hosted its seventh annual blood drive, in collaboration with Héma-Québec, on September 19.
The latest edition collected a grand total of 43 donations from staff members. “We’re so grateful to all the superheroes who participated in this year’s blood drive,’’ said Kelly White, an occupational therapist with the LLMRC who is one of the blood drive’s longtime organizers. ‘We hope you’ll continue to donate throughout the year, and join us again next year!’’
The LLMRC drive helps Héma-Québec replenish its blood bank, and also reminds us all that donating blood saves lives. Many thanks to the organizing committee—Melanie Bergthorson, Stephanie Rishikof, Enza Stabile, Zoé Lavallée and Ms. White—and to all of the donors for making this year’s drive a success once again!
