Congratulations to our CIUSSS’s delegation on their visit to Quebec City to collect their Prix d’excellence du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux in the category Gestion intégrée de la qualité des soins et des services 2023. They received the honour for their implementation of the C4 Command Centre. Attending the awards ceremony as part of the delegation (shown in the first photo) are: Alan Maislin, Carol Viegas, Dr. Lawrence Rosenberg, Suzette Chung, Dr. Shannon Fraser, André Poitras, Joanne Côté, Chloé Décarie-Drolet, Kimberly Gartshore and Julie Ricciardi.
The award was given by Sonia Bélanger, the Minister Responsible for Health and for Seniors, along with Luc Boileau, National Director of Public Health and MSSS Assistant Deputy Minister. The Prix d’excellence are highly competitive: an initial selection is made by the institution, then by the MSSS, and finally by a national jury.
“The C4 project wouldn’t have garnered such success without the incredible engagement and mobilization of dozens of people from the clinical and support directorates, who are often working in the shadows,” remarked Joanne Côté, our CIUSSS’s Director of Director of Quality, Transformation, Evaluation, Performance, Ethics and Virtual Care. “Without their contribution, we would not have achieved such significant advances in care, to the benefit of all our users. We also received invaluable and unconditional support from our Senior Management.”
