Celebrating our CIUSSS’s volunteers, who are sharing their time in record numbers

On May 30, over 100 volunteers gathered at the Jewish General Hospital for a 5 à 7 event celebrating their dedication to users of our CIUSSS’s health care and social services.

Throughout the year, more than 1,000 volunteers provide support to our teams, users and visitors at sites across our network. From running marathons with visually impaired clients to assisting in weaving art activities, guiding patients registering at self-serve kiosks to accompanying residents on outings to lavender fields, our volunteers take on a wide range of tasks—freeing up staff to tend to more urgent duties.

Our social media specialist was on hand to capture the celebrations, be sure to catch her reel on our CIUSSS’s Insta page. If you attended this event, share your pictures with us by tagging @ciussscentreouest and using the hashtag #JeSuisCentreOuest.

If you know of someone who would like to volunteer at our CIUSSS, encourage them to email the Volunteer Services team at Benevolat.CCOMTL@ssss.gouv.qc.ca.
