Congratulations to Paula Yiannopoulos, who has been appointed Associate Director of Immunization, Screening and Testing in the Directorate of Frontline Services for CIUSSS West-Central Montreal.
Ms. Yiannopoulos, whose nomination took effect June 5, is responsible for large-scale projects aimed at developing and adapting local services for the needs of the public, particularly with respect to vaccination, screening and sampling. She will work in close collaboration with Public Health. In addition, Ms. Yiannopoulos is Frontline’s representative on the Emergency and Civil Security Committee, overseeing public health measures and other initiatives to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases.
With more than 20 years’ experience as a manager in the health and social services sector, Ms. Yiannopoulos served most recently as Interim Associate Director responsible for vaccination and screening during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also played a key role in establishing the Long COVID Referral Centre.
Previously, Ms. Yiannopoulos held various positions with the CIUSSS, including Coordinator of the vaccination clinic at Décarie Square, Coordinator of regional service for Info-Santé/Info-Social 811, and Coordinator of General Services in the Cavendish sector. In addition, she gained extensive experience from her many years at CSSS de la Montagne and CLSC Parc-Extension.
