Congratulations to Marie-Ève Brunelle, who will be joining our CIUSSS as Director of Access to Frontline Medical Services of the Regional Directorate of General Medicine (DRMG)

on June 19. She will succeed Sébastien Blin, who held this position from 2021 to 2023. In this capacity, Ms. Brunelle will assume responsibility for the coordination and development of all activities related to access to frontline medical services on the Island of Montreal, and will ensure the involvement and mobilization of the 2,580 family physicians to meet the needs of the Montreal population and the position of the DRMG. She is charged with improving access to local medical care and services by supporting the deployment of frontline medical services in medical clinics, private senior’s residences, long-term care facilities and rehabilitation hospitals.

Ms. Brunelle previously held the title of Political Advisor in the office of the Minister of Health. She has also held the positions of Assistant Director of General Services, Director of Immunization and COVID Screening, and Frontline Services Coordinator at the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud. During her career, she has engaged in collaborative leadership with professionals from diverse backgrounds, bringing together key players in complex situations to pursue common objectives.

Ms. Brunelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the Université de Montréal.
