Congratulations to Erin Cook on her appointment as the CIUSSS’s Director of Quality, Transformation, Evaluation, Valuation, Ethics and Virtual Care (DQTEVE&VC), effective June 19. Ms. Cook takes on the role as Joanne Côté heads into a well-deserved retirement in July, following 42 years of dedicated service in the health and social services network.
Ms. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Nursing from Athabasca University. She began her career with our CIUSSS in 2017, as Clinical-Administrative Coordinator for Oncology and Cardiovascular Services, as well as Co-Director of the Segal Cancer Centre. She then held the position of Deputy Director of SAPA, Long-Term Care. Since 2021, Ms. Cook has been the Associate Director of DQTEVE&VC. Passionate, enthusiastic and innovative, Ms. Cook fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration. She has worked actively on deploying the Hospital@Home program, as well as on developing, at the provincial level, the Virtual Care program adopted by the MSSS.
