Congratulations to Dr. William Foulkes, an award-winning clinician-researcher in the Lady Davis Institute at the JGH, on his appointment as Director of the Division of Medical Genetics at both the JGH and the MUHC.
Dr. Foulkes, who is also Chair of the Department of Human Genetics at McGill University, collaborates with global researchers to better understand the inherited basis of various cancers.
In his new positions, he hopes to bring together experts from the JGH, the MUHC and McGill to broaden the role of medical genetics in diagnosing and treating illnesses in a wider range of medical specialties.
