Congratulations to Dr. Vicky Tagalakis, a clinician-researcher, on her appointment as Chief of the JGH Department of Medicine.
Dr. Tagalakis, who joined the hospital in 2003, focuses on the epidemiology of venous thrombotic disorders, with a particular interest in the development and treatment of this condition in cancer patients. As a researcher, she is active in the Lady Davis Institute at the JGH, and she serves as Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine at McGill University.
