Dr. Sabin Filimon has joined the Division of Cardiology at the JGH, with an appointment as Assistant Professor at McGill University.
His research will focus on cardio-oncology, including the application of artificial intelligence to various aspects of the disease.
There will also be an emphasis on understanding, detecting and managing a particular type of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle).
Dr. Filimon work’s will be carried out in close inter-disciplinary collaboration with the Department of Oncology and the Division of Hematology at the JGH.
