Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Elizov on her appointment as Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the JGH.
Dr. Elizov, an Associate Professor at McGill University, succeeds Dr. Rubin Becker, who had been Chief since 1994 and continues as an active member of staff.
Dr. Elizov joined the hospital in 2000 and has served in various leadership roles, including at McGill as Chair of the Competence Committee of the General Internal Medicine Postgraduate Training Program; and as Vice-Chair of the Specialty Committee in General Internal Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
