The Canadian College of Health Leaders has awarded our CIUSSS the 2024 Recognition in Delivering Value-based Healthcare for its VBHC model for colorectal cancer.
Faced with an escalating number of cases and limited resources, our CIUSSS developed an innovative Integrated Practice Unit (IPU) that involves patients, implements common indicators and streamlines processes.
This collaborative approach has resulted in shared accountability, which has led to improvements to the delivery of care and better outcomes. Congratulations!
