Beverly Kravitz received well-deserved accolades at a celebration on January 27 to cap off a distinguished career, most recently as Director of Human Resources, Communications, Legal Affairs and Global Security.
Ms. Kravitz’s path started at the JGH Foundation and ultimately led her to become our CIUSSS’s Director of Human Resources, which allowed her to play a vital role in the daily lives of employees throughout our organization. Ms. Kravitz was a guiding force, ensuring excellence in healthcare while fostering a culture of compassion, resilience and innovation. Her leadership, dedication and kind spirit have left an indelible mark on our teams.
In a farewell letter to staff, Ms. Kravitz praised the many “brilliant, kind and devoted” people she met during her years of service.
“We have faced many challenges over the years, but with an unstoppable determination to stay the course while still delivering excellent healthcare. Along with an unwavering loyalty to our establishment, we have always managed to come through with flying colours,” she wrote.
“I feel so fortunate to have been able to live my purpose with colleagues I greatly admire and respect,” she added. “This has truly been a labour of love. I will forever cherish the many memories.”
Staff from across the CIUSSS gathered at the JGH to express their gratitude to Ms. Kravitz and to wish her well in her next chapter.
