Congratulations to Joanne Savard, who has been appointed Associate Director of SAPA Home Care (SAD), RI-RTF and the Mistreatment Helpline.
As part of her new role, Ms. Savard will work closely with the leadership and teams within SAPA SAD to ensure that clients, along with their caregivers, receive timely access to quality services and programs, across the continuum of care. Our CIUSSS, as a forerunner in the transformation of home care, is committed to providing excellent care, by the right person, at the right time, and in the right place. Ms. Savard will be responsible for promoting an optimal patient experience by supporting seniors who choose to remain at home for as long as possible, while living in complete safety and with dignity.
Having practiced for many years in various nursing roles, Ms. Savard joins our network with extensive experience in other CISSSs and CIUSSSs, establishing and running long-term care sites. She has also led and implemented programs—many regional—relating to care for seniors as well as oncology patients. Most recently, she obtained her Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) from Université Laval in Organizational Development, and is due to complete her Masters of Science in Administration Leadership in Organizational Change, at the same institution.
